On Monday, Jan. 7th Jeremy and I took a day tour out to the Blue Mountains. Wow, what spectacular sights! So why are they called the Blue Mountains...well, apparently the Eucalyptus Trees release on oil into the air and all those tiny droplets then reflects the sun in a way that it looks like a blue haze, allowing for the Mountains to be called the Blue Mountains. Check out some of the amazing pics.
You can see the blue haze over my right shoulder and the "three sisters" above my head.
During our day tour, we took a gondola down a mountain, and a train that has a 52 degree angle at one point. It was insane.
