Yanchep National Park

Today we took a trip up to Yanchep National Park, and had a wonderful time. We took a swamp tour and then we had an Aboriginal Experience and learned so much! Jeremy was actually part of the demonstration. The entire presentation was fascinating!!

Plus we saw our first Koala's and Kangaroo's today. We got so close to one of the Koala's...honestly he was about six feet away. The most important aspect was that he was awake. Koala's sleep about 23 hours a day and when they are awake, the majority of the time it is at night, so we got quite the show. it was fabulous! I think they are a new favorite animal for me...they are adorable.

Plus, we saw a ton of kangeroos...this is where phantom helped out...it is so quiet, we were able to sneak up on them....such interesting animals!
