Brighton, UK

It has been really warm here in the UK. In fact they have had the warmest summer in 6 years- this all means it is in the upper 80's here. I do have to admit, in a non-a/c country, 80 something is quite warm! Honestly though, it has not been that bad. God is so good, and usually always there is a nice breeze and at night, it definitely cools off. In saying all of that, we had to make it to the beautiful UK coast this past weekend, so we decided to visit the beautiful city of Brighton.

Brighton has a pier, much like the pier in the Santa Monica, CA- so we knew the girls would have a blast.

Although, Brighton does have a sandy beach, they are quite known for the rock beach, so, of course, we had to give it a try :-) Brooke LOVED it (but she really enjoys collecting rocks and sticks, so, naturally we knew this might be a fav for her), Kaytlin really enjoyed- even building a bit of a rock castle, but has said that she does much prefer a sand beach..hehe. Summer lovin'!!!
