The Lone Star State

Late June through mid July the girls and J headed back to TX to visit family. They loved getting to see everyone and had lots of fun in the process. Here are some pics of our trip!

Our journey began, the day after we landed in the 109 degree Fahrenheit Texas heat (truly a shock to my system). We headed up to church for the last day of VBS. KK loved going into the class and participating. B ended up sleeping in and her and I went up later that day and got to enjoy it for a bit with Gram.

Uncle Johnny, Aunt Judy and Aunt Pam blessed us with a visit as well. We felt so special and loved by them taking the time to come to see us!

Next, we were off to PaPa's Lake house...

Good Morning South TX (I have to admit- it is hard to beat a TX sunrise and sunset!).

While visiting South TX, we were off to Goliad for a little TX history... Here we visited the Presidio and the Mission.

We headed one day over to one of our favorite S TX towns... Rockport, TX. So many fond memories of where I went to HS and 'grew up'- we definitely want the girls to experience and know Rockport as Jeremy also had yearly family trips down :-)

Happy INDEPENDANCE DAY, USA! Plus a little cousin lovin'- fireworks, water fun fights, and well just fun times together...

Celebrating Barrett's 1st and Ava's 4th Birthday Pawty...

Summer lovin'

NEXT STOP... H-Town!

Here we got our FIRST haircut for B (and sadly lots of her curls are gone), and well, I have lost count for KK :-)

Shopping is always a fun adventure with Gram :-)

Fun with Friends...

Gram decided we needed two more added to the family, so Cocoa Puff and Lola - welcome!

Gram also loves a party - even if we are just celebrating Cocoa Puff and Lola being 1 day old :-)

Our final stop.. was the GREATEST SHOW on EARTH ;)

(please note that KK had to buy the dress she is wearing to match a dress Gram has - as pictured- she loves that they have 'matching dresses')

Our sweet lil' traveler's...

Obviously, the girls and I had a really lovely time back in the States- but no worries, daddy had lots of fun in the UK while we were away- he got to play golf, hang out with friends and rest a little :-)
