It is beginning to look a lot like...

CHRISTMAS! Everywhere you go...

This year we are enjoying our time here in the UK for Christmas. We are welcoming some of Jeanae's family-Dad has already arrived and more arrive this weekend :)

In the meantime, we are helping the girls to get into the spirit with several different outings...

Kew Gardens Christmas lights walk

Painshill Park Crystal Groto with Santa

A Jingle Bell Concert at the Royal Albert Hall with PaPa

and then some lights around London Town :)

Winchester Cathedral and the Winchester Christmas Markets

We also wanted to post a few pictures of the poppies that were displayed at the London Tower this past Fall to honor the fallen veteran's. At first I was a bit upset, that they were taking down the poppies, until a British friend said... It is just as it should be. Beautiful, vibrant flowers that represent the full life of the soldiers- they were just blooming, had so much more life to live- bright lives- full of so much- then they were plucked from this earth- much like these flowers will be taken down even though they could offer so much. I left profoundly moved and thought- how poetic and what a beautiful memorial for the fallen.
