Bath

Along with Stonehenge, we headed to the city of Bath. To describe it in one word, I would say: Breathtaking! The only hot springs in the UK are here, and this city is known for the Roman baths (hence the name ;-). People would come to the spring and could spend up to an entire day getting their bath- going from spring to spring.

Roman Bath Museum
The girls really enjoyed the Roman Bath museum, and the fact that they had their own guide they could listen to, that told the stories for children to understand and enjoy (brilliant!).



The Abbey
The Bath Abbey has quite a history, but no doubt just like most Abbey's it's beautiful! We just happened to walk in on a choir rehearsal- WOW! Truly an unexpected highlight. We sat and listened and enjoyed the music for a bit-the girls really enjoyed it as well.


The City
A father and son architecture basically designed and built the facade's of all the building, which makes it quite majestic. We really enjoyed the city and the people- it very much reminded us of Austin, in the fact that it a bit "weird" yet so beautiful.


Kaytlin decided she might need to learn how to drive on the other side ;-)
