Our FIRST week in the UK

We have officially been living in the UK for a week. We are currently living in a temporary apartment for the first month, then our house will come available and we will get to get our things and move in. We are super excited about that because we can really make it home, and truly get settled in the area we will be living in for the reminder of the time we have here. In the mean time, we have been keeping the girls busy.

We found a park nearby that the girls loved playing at on Monday. They got to experience their first merry-go-round (although they sat on the inside.. haha), and Kaytlin did a zip line and loved it. Of course, Brooke wanted to, but I would not let her do it without daddy being there to catch her in case she fell, the last part is a bit jerky.

On Tuesday, we look a walk by the river, and found a beautiful open field nearby that the girls wanted to have a photo shoot in. We laughed and laughed as KK posed for each pic, and our Brookey was that random person that jumps in the pic with a funny face. Then they both decided to be silly. We had lots of fun exploring and taking pics.

Wednesday and for the rest of the week it rained, but the girls got use to walking around in it, and most importantly loved finding the puddles, to jump into. We became members of the library, read some books and even checked some out. The girls enjoying reading them over and over and over again.

Thursday, we did some major shopping :-) Brooke and Kaytlin have a little bug box that we play with fake bugs that we hide and find-anyway, she takes it lots of places with her now... hilarious. She will even get the frogs out of it, and call them her babies, or sit them on the ground and try and teach them how to hop...KK and I laugh and laugh, especially when she does it in public and people look at her oddly- don't worry we hop with her :-)

Friday we had a friend from Scotland come in- Oh how we have missed the Ross' and so enjoyed our catch up with him. Hoping for lots more to come!

We have to admit, we are blessed beyond words to get to experience all the we are and do it together. We are loving every minute of it so far. Thank you for all your prayers and support during this time!
