Perspectives

Last week was our 3rd week, here-which to me is hard to believe. The girls were quite happy going along and doing their normal weekly activities that we have established, but momma needed a little variety... so besides nursery time, and our other activities, we were able to go with a friend down to a new city and shop and hang out for a day, and I came up with a scavenger hunt that we did. It is funny, because the London area is experiencing its coldest winter in over 50 years. Every day it is in the 30's, snowing, and some days it can even be fairly windy. Had the girls and I been in Houston, we would had been cuddled up on the couch and invited friends over to play- here, we put on our wellies, winter gloves, scarves and hats, and head out for an adventure. We expected for the weather here to be different and for us to just have to deal with it, and the girls even at 30 some odd degrees this past week, said, "Mommy, it really isn't that cold- just the wind is cold." It quickly brought to the realization, it is all about your perspective and what you expect.

Here are a few pics from our scavenger hunt, that led us to a new fun park

Then here are a few pics of Godalming, a little British village that we visited and enjoyed lunch and shopping for the day with friends. The final pic is of J and the girls. KK and B love the new back stand along riding addition to the umbrella stroller.
